The last big office I worked for was officially business casual, but that meant all men wore ties at all times; it’s just jackets that weren’t required. Thank gods I’m female; there are so many more options!

Same for the San Francisco financial district–slacks, dress shoes, dress shirt, jacket. The tie’s probably in a desk drawer in case they get called into a meeting with a VP or something like that, but that’s not likely to be too much of an issue for a temp.

That said, my last temp job 20 years ago was full suit & tie, working as a word processor.
