People hate Hillary for being corrupt, but she never stood up on the podium and said, ‘‘Corruption is just great. I love being corrupt.’’ Trump stood up on the podium and made racism and misogyny a major part of his platform. Since racism and misogyny affect me on a profoundly physical, visceral level – not to mention a practical one – I have to assume that is not the case for people who vote for Trump. Does that mean they are as virulently racist and misogynist as Trump? Not necessarily. But they are, in the least, apathetic to the needs of women and minorities. I find that problematic. ---
