Nice imgery there, **Standup Karmic**. I like your new name, by the way… it _does_ sound nicer than your old one. (not that the old one wasn’t, but y’know… this one sounds more euphonious and melodically pleasing to the ear when I say it in my head) I think mine doesn’t really need to be changed… it’s a nickname for myself that I’ve had for many years now. 🙂 F\_X ---

I _was_ **tlw**. Now I’m phonetically 2/3rds the woman I once was. As my new sig indicates, my loss of a W should not be construed as a political statement. As T.L.W. are my initials, it should also not be construed as an indication that I am no longer married to the bringer of the W, I am, and will remain so for a very long time, I’m sure. As a plain matter of fact, I just wanted a name that I could run an occasional egosearch on. 😃 ---

I was once **javaman** , but, along with several others, got temporarily banned by **Manhattan** for getting political in GQ. I didn’t like being banned, but I did come to understand why it had happened and where I had crossed the line. **Manhattan** was happy to welcome me back once I promised to reform so in the end it was a positive experience. This, then, is my farewell salute to him…a fair, tough, and most capable moderator who did his best to preserve the essence of GQ. Anyway, I decided to change my name when I was reinstated. ---
