On to immigration! Trump first. “Amnesty is a disaster.” Trump has brought mothers of victims of crime by illegal immigrants. He’s beginning to word salad but “We have no country if we have no border” is a good line. Again, sticking to his talking points. Apparently New Hampshire’s biggest problem is heroin… from Mexico? What? Oh, he’s promising a wall. Will Matthews challenge him as to how he’s going to pay for… he’s sniffing again. Clinton, again, with a scripted response talking about “Carla,” whose parents might be deported and heck, she might actually exist. Clinton is not attacking the implausibility of his wall, which I find baffling. Her visualization of the Gestapo-like roundup is smart. Now she’s attacking the wall and said Trump “choked.” Oooh, nice. It’ll piss him off. He’s babbling about NAFTA. ---
