# Og instead of god, why?

I usually say “Ghod knows” and “ghod dammit” and the like, just to avoid cheap-ass Christian gotchas like “Aha! If you _really_ didn’t believe in God, you wouldn’t thank Him or ask Him to curse people!”-a response I’ve even gotten on this board in the past.

Usually I post “Ghod” on the net, and “Og” in realy life. If I were to try to pronounce “Ghod” it would be somewhat like the way Stewie Griffin pronounces “Cool Whip”-[You Tube link.](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lich59xsjik)
