WTF is OG SMASH? I see it pop up around here every once in a while. I tried a search for it (here on the SDMB), but came back with over a thousand hits, and they all seemed to be in context, not a definition. so… what gives? ---

I am a sometimes poster, but major lurker. I know almost every inside the SD joke. But, I never got Og Smash. I also never would have admitted it if **Bosda** hadn’t come forward first. ---

If you didn’t pick it up from **zev’s** link, Seahawk made the twin mistake of being a jerk and a bad speller. He kept talking about the “Son og God” which **racinchikki** brilliantly turned into the Dope’s new diety. It’s a lot like w_ldest b_ll’s famous “Gotcha Ya”. It’s just one more reason why, if you’re gonna be a jerk, you better type carefluly. 😉 ---

Particularly ironic is that **racinchikki** is so, so, so very not an “Og smite” kind of person… ---

This whole Og thing predates the SDMB by a few years though **racinchikki** did adapt it as described by **Radiowave**. Og came from an on-line column from the early days of the Web.
