They’re starting to run together. I thought that this one was not the one that was posted last week, and that it was an older one that was reposted today. I stand corrected. ---

> [@Elendil\_s\_Heir](#): > > I don’t get the king’s declaration, “I am a river to my people!” From **Lawrence of Arabia** : _“I carry twenty-three great wounds, all got in battle. Seventy-five men have I killed with my own hands in battle. I scatter, I burn my enemies’ tents. I take away their flocks and herds. The Turks pay me a golden treasure, yet I am poor! Because I am a river to my people!”_ So by “his” sacrifice the king is providing passage to his party and preventing more of them from being killed or maimed by Kronar. Or he would be if he didn’t have a _very_ obedient shape-changing sorcerer in his entourage :D. ---

This week’s is more cute than anything else. A bit of a chuckle, a little hot…but mostly cute. Ice Queen’s got a cruuuuush. I liked the look on the monster’s faces. ---

It does appear that way. It also appears that Warrior Woman knows what she’s doing 😉 More than likely, so does the nice lady who’s been drawing this wonderful strip. :\> ---

No. She must sleep for the other seasons to happen. Her being awake causes winter. The only way she can slumber is to be sexually satisfied. So, her dream startled her to wake early, which is signaled by the snows starting. ---

It appears that the Warrior Woman may be the new driving force in the comic. Welcome change–she’s fascinating, sexy, and mysterious enough to pull off gags based on her backstory. I wonder if she’ll ever meet up with Ivan. ---

I don’t really do the Twitter thing, but I noticed the artist’s got a twitter feed. And according to one of her tweets yesterday, the lady mercenary’s name is Greir. Also according to that twitter feed, Oglaf’s author uses the pseudonym ‘Bodil Bodilson.’ ---
