As much as I don’t like the invisible city/monster storyline, I do enjoy getting two or three comics on a Sunday vs just a single. ---

For a webcomic with what seems (to me) to be a pretty substantial following she’s doing almost nothing to monetize the size re ads and merchandise. Her “buy stuff” link is pathetic. I know she has another comic she works on, but I’m surprised she’s not doing more with the popularity of the webcomic. She can’t be getting any real money from this. It’s a labor of love so I can’t really bust on her for what she puts out in terms of volume. ---

Not only was Calvin and Hobbes an outstanding comic, I admire Bill Watterson for refusing to cash in on the millions on merchandise he could have made. It was about the comic series and nothing else. ---
