The strip has lost a lot without any regular characters. There’s no back story to the humor anymore. I dont even read it every Sunday anymore. I’ll stop by once in awhile and read three or four weeks at one visit. ---

You often see stories where immortality is portrayed as a curse. I’ve seen “the good news is, you’re now immortal - the bad news is the other immortals are evil and out to kill/absorb you.” I’ve never seen “the bad news is the other immortals are dicks and you’re going to suffer unending intermittant irritation.” ---

The author has stated on twitter that Ivan’s story isn’t finished and that they’re hoping to start the next installment sometime in early 2012. (Which at this point, I’m assuming means sometime before the 6 month mark.) ---
