Og’s first name is Ken, according to a personalized license plate I saw a couple of days ago. “KEN OG” is what it said. I just thought all of you would like to know. ---

You misunderstood the plate: “Ken” means “understand”. I.e., the owner understands Og. (Although it can also mean “see”, so perhaps someone has being seeing Og and needs to adjust his medication.) ---

No. It’s Orville. Orville Gunderstadtler. OG’s Press Secretary was a horrid speller so he just used the initials. What gets me is this Ken idiot is most likely trying to say he’s O.G. Which is really just sad. Please tell us he was in a Festiva or Yugo or something. ---

Billy Bletcher, little man with a big voice, who was a fixture in the “Our Gang” series, played a character named “Frank Ogg” (two g’s) in one of the last acting roles of his career, in an ep of “Get Smart.” Ironically, Bletcher supplied the voice of the giant in the “Our Gang” short “Mama’s Little Pirate,” although it mainly consisted of a lot of humming with one big “A-HAAAA!” ---

He told me it belonged to his 91 year old grandmother, who bought it new and could no longer drive it. It wasn’t cherry by any means, but it sure looked good: great big hunk a chunk of Detroit iron like they used to make 'em.
