No, he and everyone here is making fun of people who turn a misunderstanding of a joke into a full on pit rant. Even supposing it wasn’t a joke, the proper response would have been to stick to the original thread and politely point out that, no in science vacuum chambers often contain things. At which point Bill could have responded with the 5 letter woosh, and everything could have ended copaceticly. Instead, Cartooniverse used that single post which at worst was an example of easily fought ignorance, and turned it into an all out attack accusing Bill of rejecting all of science from Galileo on up. Any reaction from Bill at that point from stringing him on further to responding in kind is thoroughly justified at that point. The only thing more idiotic than posting the thread in the first place it using to drag out some long lost grudge you hold against a well respected board member base on god know what past history you had with him. ---
