Close. It _was_ from books. 📚Used to sneak up into the adult section of the library and read all that juicy forbidden stuff. At first the librarians used to chase me back down into the children’s books until I persisted so long they gave up. I discovered that biographies were where the best swearing was, that and the birds and bees. My big brother was the one who read the WWII books. He was generous about sharing his new found swearing vocabulary, thank heavens. ---
