Actually they have never struck me as being particularly knowledgeable about science. They are smart guys, but it always strikes me as “the old horse doctor” kind of sence. They have a lot of experience in a huge number of areas, and can reason out very well. But when it comes to hard science,“book learnin” kind of stuff they make some huge mistakes.
