# Oh frabjous day, I found Olympia beer!

Can’t say, I’ve never had Oly from a bottle. But that article makes it sound as if the “dots” were molded into the glass of the bottle itself, not printed on the label (the bit about running a thumbnail down the middle of the label).

Does anybody remember the neon boxes and cans from the 1990s? Not the can I remember, though. The one I remember was the black can with “Oly” in cursive, without the background, and in graduated colors.

LOL. Beer was my only “drug” at the time, and I bought many half-racks of that “neon” Oly. Maybe it was only distributed on a limited basis in that packaging. It was shortly before Oly disappeared from local shelves (I assume when the brewery was shut down). I suspect they were trying (or rather, their new owners were trying) to capitalize on the '90s “Xtreme” aesthetic.
