It is truly tragic what has happened in Darfur. I’m sure a great movie can be made about the genocide without exploiting it. However, call it a hunch, but I’m fairly certain that [this is not that film](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fSjQEXzIXI). First off, it stars Billy freaking Zane,- that’s never a good sign. Second, they can’t even spell “existence” right in the trailer. Third, it seems like it may be leaning in the low rent action movie direction, - think _Hotel Rwanda II_, starring Jean Claude Van Dam. Lastly and most important, it’s directed by… wait for it… Uwe Boll. Oh, _HELL_ no. Did somebody make a Darfur game for the X-Box when I wasn’t Looking? Uwe Boll. Haven’t the people of the Sudan suffered enough? ---

On the plus side, the genocide will now be only the second worst thing to come out of the War in Darfur. ---

I might be blind or illiterate (very possible, both), but it looks to me as if they spelled “existence” right. At least. So who keeps giving this bozo money? ---

Huh, it is spelled correctly in the YouTube link, but I first ran across the trailer [here](http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/news/uwe-bolls-darfur-trailer-cannot-spell-colea.php) where it’s spelled exist **a** nce. It’s also misspelled [here](http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Uwe-Boll-s-Darfur-Trailer-Is-Offensive-Only-Because-It-Can-t-Spell-15512.html), but I guess he fixed it before it went to YouTube. ---

I love how it’s set in “Sudan, Africa.” For some reason I keep picturing a film opening with a shot of the White House or the Pentagon and a little subtitle popping up which reads “The United States, North America.”
