Oh! How I hate square plates and bowls!

Can ypou still buy those hot orange (radioactive) Fiestaware plates? I love the look!

Pigs! - scroll down to the second row.

I’ve got two square plates that I only use as decorative serving plates. For some reason I’ve got an irrational dislike of eating off of them.

So I think we can all agree that square bowl sinks would be a sign of the apocalypse.

Oh my goodness, yes!

I had a set of square, everyday dishes for a couple of years. They had been given to me as a gift. I used them, but didn’t really care for them.

What I use now for all but fancy stuff is a vintage set of restaurant china in aqua and cream. Indestructable and goes well with my vintage chrome-formica kitchen table.

I need a set of bowls that say LEFTOVER CHINESE LEFTOVER CHINESE LEFTOVER CHINESE.

I thought I had such a good idea for you, but unfortunately, it looks like Octime has been discontinued.

My last apartment had them in the bathroom… they looked something like this, but picture it in really bad faux marble instead of white.

If by apocalypse you mean a lifetime of me exiting the washroom, soaking wet at the waist (or wherever the sink hits me), then yes. Yes it is.

I suspected that those bowl sinks would be hard to clean - thanks for confirming it. My husband and I don’t like the look much, anyway, but that really nails it down.

The actual official color is red. The first series from 1936 to 1943 were a bit more radioactive then the later 1959 to 1972 items.
