Some people tend to be kind of picky about their bread so maybe it was decided that you can supply your own bread, rather than have a lot go to waste while the pantry staff figures out what everyone likes. ---

1. Yes, it’s weird that they installed a peanut butter maker. 2. Hey, they supplied the peanuts. Free fresh-ground peanut butter! What’s not to like? 3. Hell yeah, I’ll bring in my own bread. And jam, whether they provide that or not, because I’ve got a stash of homemade. Or I’d just grab a container to grind the PB into, then grab a spoon and eat it straight, or dip apple slices into it as **Blackberry** suggests. 4. I’m gonna complain about this? Be perplexed, maybe, but definitely not complain. ---

Okay, two mysteries apparently solved: 1. The ice is in mini-cube form, not pellet form. 2. There are Nabisco saltines underneath the peanut butter machine. ---
