I do believe you kept your dick stashed in your pants, because that’s something most men can do, but assuming you’re human, straight, and still have functioning testicles you’re going to have thoughts about women other than your wife. 2. She can be the woman of your dreams but if she’s no longer around absolutely no one outside of self-righteous dickheads expect you to cut yourself off from all human society and live without affection and/or sex. 3. You can hold her face in your heart for eternity AND spend time with someone else. Starting a new relationship doesn’t magically mind-wipe your memories, it doesn’t re-write history, and it doesn’t lessen either relationship. I mean, if it incorporates some of that, great, but it’s not essential anymore than honeymooning in Paris is essential to a marriage. Nice if you can get it (and want it) but not essential.
