[random thoughs] I peirced my own ears in college. I had the first set of holes and did a second set above them. Only I didn’t use a needle, I used ice to numb my ears, then pushed an earring through where I wanted it to be. [/random thoughts] ---

There were a couple of times I wanted to brush the pesky little tool away, but I told the guy that did the tat for me, and he stopped for a sec til i was ready again. Find a reputable place, get to know the artist, and make sure you both understand each other. That will make it much easier. _Everyone_ hates needles, hon. I had to give a lady a shot once, and she insisted on laying down so she wouldn’t pass out. She turned her head at the last second to see me about to administer the shot, and KICKED AND JUMPED. I almost ended up with a needle in my eye. Some people are just better at controlling that reflex than others. But, it doesn’t feel like that at all, honest. More like…hm. How do I describe it? More like scraping, but not quite like that either. ---
