My religion is Pentecostal…one of the Christian religions that is very strict and follows the Bible from A to Z as closely as possible. No TV. No dancing. No pants, makeup or jewelry for women. Women shouldn’t cut their hair and men should always keep their hair short. Basically they have a very modest approach to how people should look and behave. I’m not currently err…practicing my religion to the satisfaction of my family, but well…a tattoo is semi permanent and my grandmother would not be pleased if she found out I were to do something like that. So, for now…it’s a thought, and nothing more. Not to turn this into a religous debate or thread or anything, but that part of the Bible is refrencing a Nation close to the Isrealites that practiced body tatooing as a way to worship their gods. God laid down that law so that the Isrealites would not be tempted into worshiping other gods or into their practices. 🙂 Just thought I’d share, feel free to disregaurd. ---

Yeah my tatto is religious too. I believe my body is a temple and I think my tattoo and piercings are a way to decorate my temple…you know spirituality is very personal… I have a 6 1/2" parrot that I drew on my right hip. I always wanted a parrot but could never find artwork I liked so I finally drew that bad boy myself to scale with the curve of my hip. It didn’t hurt really more like it was kind of annoying. It is like someone pinching you lightly over and over and over…the only place it really smarted was near the bone and my tat artist was great about doing a little on the bone and then moving to a different area to give me a break. I also have my navel pierced. The piercing itself didn’t hurt at all although looking down and seeing an 8" needle sticking through the skin in your navel is a little disconcerting. But it took 7 freakin months to heal and was just a BITCH to care for in the mean time. I do not recommend this to anyone who is not gung ho about it. I kind o fdid it on a whim and I like it now but if I had known it was such a pin in the ass, I don’t think I would have done it. So NOW - all you guys, don’t tell me you are gonna be all candy assed and say you WANT to get a tat or your ears pierced but are afraid …you can’t let a sissy girly girl like me show you up can you? (Yes, that means I am calling you out!) Jaade and Rocky!! Now you both know I am totally jealous if you get married (BUT you have to figure out which one of you I am jealous of!!! LOL) Still no word from Studmuffin. Can’t even reach him to break up with him so I guess in my mind that means we are broken up. I have plans for a girls night this weekend which will be my “coming out” party. I’d still like to receive a package in the mail from my naked motorcycle rider…yummy 🙂 But hey, who knows what treats await me on the mean streets of metro Texas?
