Having just recently moved to Malden, I can say that, while nothing will ever hold a candle to Pizzeria Regina, Beantowne Pizza on Main Street make a damn fine pie. Sorry things didn’t work out with the dream date, Dave. Ah, she was too short for you anyway, right? 😉 Barry ---

Yeah, Wyatt, gotta watch out for those stealth consonants. You know, I’ve never actually READ the “Spit or Swallow” thread; it was so long it almost intimidated me. Now that I have fantasies about Davebear a la Patrick Stewart, however… Of course, Wyatt, if you want to (a) get no work done and (b) create general consternation in your office, ask somebody who’s better at searching the boards than I am to link to either the TMI Thread or the Pimple Thread for you. I guarantee you’ll be choking back laughter, tears, cries of outrage, and gagging from repulsion for many hours to come! ---

_already Knows where MamaT’s vote falls in the “bald nearly shaved head” v/s “Nearly bald with pony tail” question …_ Ya know, I think this advice on how to “get no work done” is a WAY superior thing to all the advice out there about how to efficiently get lots and lots of work done … now if I could just sell that to the boss … hey! Wait! I AM the boss! I’ll just give the mortgage company a quick email, and explain I’m WAY to busy getting my SDMB education to fool with paying pursuits! I’m Sure they’ll understand why they won’t be getting paid for a few weeks… ---

I lived all over, at various times; Maplewood, Ferryway Green, Oak Grove, Main St near the Everett border (horrible little apartment!), etc. And, I disagree about Pizzeria Regina. Now Dave… the only one who knows my entire repitoire would be the ever quiet Parallax 🙂 You do know more than the average Dave though! I’ve never been really good at flirting though. You can ask Parallax - he certainly didn’t notice when I was flirting with him! So either I am a horrible flirt or he is terribly dense or both. No matter, my flirting days are through (thank god!) Hey, **Wyatt** , it’s not the Patrick Stewart bald thing so much as…yummmm…Patrick Stewart. Ponytails are just fine, too. I like hair on men. Hated to have to make my son cut off his ponytail, but I figured it’ll be less of a shock when he goes in the Air Force in a few months and they take care of the Hair Problem for him. 😃 **tanookie** , maybe we should just send **Wyatt** to the [Teemings Extras](http://www.teemings.com/extras/index.html) page. Any shorter, and I don’t think we’d even be able to hold hands while walking down the street. But that’s just me. I always thought I’d end up marrying somebody 5’7" or taller, but the heart wants what the heart wants. You don’t like Pizzeria Regina, _the_ quintessential Boston thin crust pizza? Heretic! Ah well, maybe you should give Beantowne Pizza a pass after all. As for Malden, we recently got an 11-year-old townhouse just a few blocks from the center of town (a block and a half from the aforementioned Beantowne Pizza). You’ll excuse me if I don’t mention the exact address here on the Internet. I(t’s a good address, though. The missus works downtown and we’re only a few of blocks away from the Maden Center “T”. It’s purely a personal preference, however, and not a comment on how things “should” be. I just really, really, like looking at my SO face-to-face without having to bend over. On a side note, my father and younger brother are also 5’10", and we’ve all married women who are 5’3". My older brother is 6’1" and he married a woman who is 5’6". A meaningless coincidence, but we’ve all married women 7" shorter than us.
