Oh, my Star Trek geek heart just went pitter pat

I can’t do anything to you DIRECTLY on account of your being a chick, but I must remind you that Walter Koenig is completely unprotected and in the sights of my flaming honey badger gun.

I like the PHOENIX novels. Yeah, there’s some where homoerotic BDSM subtext, but the say they explored the themes of identity (both in reference to the transporter and to manhood and power) were fascinating. Kirk (James, not Jim) having to adjust to being with a woman who was his equal in willpower and his superior in strength was fascinating. I even like the writing style.

PROMETHESEUS PROBLEM was hit and miss, and TRIANGLE was literally unreadable (I never made it past chapter 3), but the PHOENIX books were excellent. Hell, M & C even knew when to stop.

thank you! i do have the vulcan science academy murders. it was a nice little family dynamic story.

i kept most of the vulcan related books.

Wasn’t there one about a human woman undercover on the Romulan homeworld? I can’t remember the title, it’s been so long.
