# Oh poker gods, what have I done to offend thee?

So tonight I’m playing a $500 freeroll on Empire… (I know, I know. It’s not the same)… anyway…

We get down to 75 players, out of 500. Money starts at 60, a whole two dollars.

I don’t really care about two dollars, though I now think I should have treated it like a real money tourney.

I pick up AJs on the button, with 3500 chips. Everyone folds to me. I’m all in. SB folds. BB has about 6000 chips, calls with J3os.

Turns a 3. I’m toast.

Reminds me why I hate this game. There always seems to be a lucky idiot waiting for you in the wings.

Oh yeah, I guess it’s relevant that the blinds were still relatively low, like 150/300… which makes not only the guy who busted me an idiot, but me as well…
