Oh poopers! I left the car lights on!

My Dad used to fly for an airline out of the Twin Cities, and because he was doing training flights the planes were only available in the middle of the night. He told me that on nights when it was gonna be really wicked cold, some of the other pilots would leave their cars running in the parking lot. They convinced one of the flight attendants to do it, and the water vapor in the exhaust condensed and froze in the tailpipe, which killed the engine. So it was cold, plugged exhaust and the battery probably died too. I don’t know if they got that car started again before spring.
