Hee. The world’s biggest clusterfuck is going on next door in marketing. It’s like Laurel & Hardy meet the Three Stooges. Mid-level people, working from home, are acting snotty to the peons, only the big bosses are in the office today, overhearing everything. Nothing is happening the way it’s supposed to, and it’s an endless round of finger pointing. It’s hilarious. I hope it’s not my group’s project. Heh. Or really, I don’t care. It’s too funny. ---

I just had a taste-off between Dagoba organic chocolate (dark 59%) and Hershey’s Special Dark. Dagoba won, natch, although Hershey’s Special Dark _could_ serve in an _extreme_ emergency.\* Yesterday’s taste-off was between Dagoba and Newman’s Own Sweet Dark Orange. Dagoba won then too, but not by a whole lot, which is good, 'cause Newman’s is cheaper. I _know_ I was comparing chocolates anf oranges there, but they didn’t have any Newman’s Own just regular dark chocolate. I didn’t tell you guys about my toe’s misadventure last month. I was in Home Despot and some jackass dropped a 2x12 on my left foot, smashing my big toe. It turned several amusing colors during the following days and my toenail fell off. But it’s pretty much all better now, except for the toenail being mostly gone. What’s growing in it’s place might turn into a toenail later on though. I liked your pics **Rosie**. A lot of times I think I’m on everybody’s ignore list too. **Rigs** , what in the Ding-dong Hell does a “20 page paper on the Everyman allegory used in fiction” have to do with being a librarian? Sounds like they’re just throwing things at you to be difficult. The big bad weather is whomping us right now. We are under tornado and flood watches, and it’s been rainy and windy and just plain ucky out. But it’s supposed to move thru tonight and be nice tomorrow, if cool We shall see. Other than that, nothing exciting. **rosie** , I couldn’t say anything about your pics out of jealousy. When I hit 25 years \*and \* 30 years, I got a pin and a plaque. No lunch, no sash, no tiara. In 2009 when I hit 35 years, I’ll get yet another pin and yet another plaque. Should I decide to hang around for forty, well, you know… Lucky duck. ---
