Perusing my voter’s guide for the June primary, I see that Orly Taitz is running for California secretary of state, as a Republican. Does this indicate a rift in the Batshit Crazy Party, or just that Michelle Bachmann doesn’t have what it takes to maintain party discipline? ---

It is exceptionally rare for a third (or billionth in her case) party candidate to have a prayer of getting elected. Putting an ® or (D) next to your name improves your chances considerably. Note there is nothing preventing anyone from running on a particular ticket no matter their politics. The only amazing thing here is she was smart enough to attach herself to a known party. ---
