All of the Lin puns are ruining the sports world right now. We got it, you can substitute Lin anywhere you see “in”. Very clever. It’s reached the point now that any sports writer who has a Lin pun in his article or worse, in the title, comes across as a hack. And just when I thought things couldn’t get more annoying I see people referring to “Chink in the armor” now that they lost. Who thought THAT was a good idea? It’s a foregone conclusion that this thread will be fully populated with Lin puns now. ---

The puns have, indeed, become linfuriating. Also, in regards to the chink in the armor thing, wasn’t there a similar headline a few years ago referencing USC offensive coordinator Norm Chow? There was a minor hubbub, but I don’t recall anyone losing a job over it. Granted, the country never experienced a level of Chowtrageousnous that approached linsanity. ---

You want Lintense pain? You should have been in Chicago when the Bulls were winning titles, and were variously saluted as Unstoppa-bull, Unbeata-bull, Incredi-bull, Unbelieva-bull, Impossi-bull, and even Invulnera-bull. It made my bowels feel very shitta-bull.
