I just went nuts. There I was, sitting in NJ, visiting, and I was bored. “Hey,” I thought. “They’re always telling me to buy the books! Oh, what the hey…” And since I’m a compulsive shopper, I bought more than just one book. And now I don’t have enough money for rent. ---

I’d like a T-shirt. Heck, and a mug. Damn Pacific Ocean. Damn exchange rates. Maybe I’ll have to make do with a Metatus mug. The HK product is quite good - you’d never know it was pirated. 😃 ---

Holy cripes! How did you miss that thread, **screech-owl**?? 🙂 Funny thing is, I’ve been barred for some time now from paying my rent by check - a few of them bounced before I got the hang of paying through my online account. So I have to do the money order thing. But I asked recently if I could return to checks because I’ve been such a good, good boy, and they were probably gonna let me. Then I had to go and blow part of the rent money on SD stuff. I know! I’ll offer them a book to appease them. ---

How did I miss that thread? Try having limited time to spend on the boards, and a _very_ bad DSL connection (worse than dial-up). It’s getting fixed. ---

The Metatus mugs are the same, of course, with “Straight Dope” crossed out with a black Sharpie marker. 🙂
