**{{{MOOOOOOM}}}** feel better. I agree about Christmas. I mean, I like it for what it is but all the hoopla I could do without it. I really wish I could just go to Christmas Eve services then go home (to da cave) and go to bed. Then spend Christmas Day watchin’ movies, surfin’ etc. I love my family and it’s good to go visit but I can do that other times durin’ the year as well. Hope you’re feelin’ better soon so you can enjoy home alone time. **Midget** I agree! Evenin’ all, End of stoopid course today, yay! Disappointed they didn’t get us mortar boards to throw in the air at the end though. I don’t get to lie in long tomorrow though, I have to get up to take the meeces to their babysitter- I’m only away two full days, but she’s working a bit late sunday for me to drop them off after, and at work too early on the 24th for me to drop them off before, so they’re having a 4 day holiday. They’re all cleaned out and ready, which means they’ll be rustling something awful all night, 'cos they hate the tank being tidy, and feel the need to rearrange everything at length. 😃 Dad’s present still hasn’t arrived. Happy firday all! ---

Hugs to all. I will be working through the holidays (though to my surprise my chief just insisted I take New Year’s Day off) but it’s all good. Life could be so much harder, even when it sucks. I know that is little comfort when it gets hard, but it’s true. I know I won’t see my kids during the holidays but I will see them soon. I have no-one at home but the calm is wonderful. The job isn’t perfect but I have one. Folks, a week ago now I was speeding North to visit a little hell on earth. Still I am convinced the good outweighs the bad, the future will be amazing and in the end it will be worth it. I enjoy studying history and I am almost universally drawn to the conclusion that even as crazy as it gets now is still an amazing time to be alive. ---

I just tried to type the word “pensive” and my fingers tried to type something else (transposing the letters S and I.) Gee, my fingers must have a dirty mind. ---

Irking at the Otro Casa de Rock, headliner is about to go on. Amazingly good crowd for a local show, possibly Houston is making a comeback as a music town. One can hope… **Midget** of course you can self promote, we blather on about all sorts of things You all may remember my posting about the girl who had a series of strokes from Kush, Docs removed her from life support but she kept breathing on her own. Against all odds she woke up Wednesday, she is a mess but she will live. Tommy is freaked, he planned a funeral got a daughter back. I know she is talking and needs a bunch of rehab not much else.
