I thought about it. Again. Decided not to go. Again. So yes, I’m not going. My boss is though, and it’s all he’ll talk about for the few weeks before and the few weeks after. (It’ll be his 3rd or 4th year, I know the drill.) ---

There’s a guy in my office who knows someone who runs a big camp there, and is always looking for people to join in. I found out about it a little too late, so I can’t make it. But I’ve got it pencilled in for next year. ---

What **WhyNot** said, as well as my impression (gleaned from people who’ve been heavily involved with it for several years) that I would become unhappy and anxious from the overstimulation. Same reason I’ve never wanted to go to Vegas. ---

Last year was my first time. I had my trailer, which made it much nicer. Couldn’t get my wife to go, though. Something about dust storms, no trees, no grass, no shade. Stayed there six days and still didn’t see everything. I did go au naturel, though. At night. By myself. Way, away from my friends. And if anybody came close to me, I put my pants on real quick. I’m such a rebel. ---

I love camping (like in national parks and such), but I’ve known enough people who’ve gone to Burning Man to know that it simply sounds like something that I doubt I would like much myself (though they all did a lot). So NOPE. Probably never. ---

Um…no. I like outdoor music festivals and all but not a big fan of sleeping over at one. Especially one in the freakin desert. Never been to Lollapalooza or any of the Woodstock revivals. I am going to the All Points West Festival in Jersey on sunday though. Radiohead on Saturday was sold out so I’m stuck with Jack Johnson. ---
