Thanks **Rysdad** for making this thread, so the other one can stay directed at the evilness of the parents, rather than the tastelessness of **llamasex**.
It seems relatively simple to me **llamasex** posted an attempt at humor that, in my view, was completely tasteless (at best). Inappropriate? Sure. Dumb? yep Asinine? Yesiree Bob! Funny? I don’t thinks so, but others may. Is he a troll? Can’t really say yet. Ban him? No way.

My post that you quoted was to show that not everything is funny, and that some posts, like llamasex’s, are offensive. I wasn’t actually advocating that happening to his mother. There’s no reason to tell Rysdad to shut the fuck up over that.

Boo fucking hoo. **Llamasex’s** black humor made the baby Jesus cry. Christ people. Grow the fuck up. Allowing yourselves to become grossly offended over something as small as this is no way to go through life. Compounding it by calling for his banning only makes you look more ridiculous than you already are. Turn off the Disney Channel and go take a walk outside.
Secondly, he ain’t a troll. It was a joke. Maybe a driveby, but not a troll. Just because you found the post sophmoric and offensive doesn’t make him a troll. The “reaction” he was going for seemed like groaning laughter. That’s the whole purpose of a tasteless joke.
Thirdly, again, he made a bad _joke_, while **gobear** seemed serious in his wish for **Llamasex** to suffer the loss of a loved one. I believe **llamasex** deserves an apology and a retraction from **gobear**.

Am I the only one here who is shaking her head in disbelief at all of the people jumping llamasex’s shit over this? For fuck’s sake, what a bunch of reactionary, knee-jerking crybabies.
He has 27 fucking posts (including the ones he made trying to defend himself, I have no idea how many posts he’d made before the comment in question), and everyone’s got their panties in a wad because he hasn’t yet figured out how to use the rolleyes smiley. When questioned about the comment, he said outright that it was meant to be sarcastic (in a “Well, the idiot sure got what he wanted” sort of way). Why is this not sufficient explanation? If he’d used the rolleyes smiley to begin with, we’d all have understood from the get-go what he meant, and the pile-on would never have happened.
Why do y’all _continue_ to pile on even after he’s explained himself? Am I missing something here??

Yes your missing the fact that what ass-fucking-Llama said was completely inhumane and was probably one of the worse pre-meditated reactions to a described situation I have ever seen. Not only was he not thinking of the brothers and sisters of this little girl who has passed but he was not thinking about the moral implications of what he was writing. This is a horrible travesty. NO SARCASM HAS NO PLACE WHEN SPEAKING OF CHILDREN DYING BY THE HAND OF THEIR FATHER AND MOTHER BECAUSE OF _THEIR_ RELIGIOUS FUCKED-UPNESS.

“Don’t be a jerk” may be applicable in all forums, but certainly it means something different in the pit. A vast majority of pit threads are laced with profanity and call people such nasty names as “goat felchers” and worse. If IRL someone were to throw insults at me even close to some of what goes on here I would certainly think they were a jerk.
I guess what I mean is that saying “don’t be a jerk” in this instance doesn’t seem to mean much more than saying, “I don’t like what you wrote so get the hell out.”
There are many insults that have already been thrown around in this thread that qualify (IMO) as much more jerkish behavior than a joke gone awry.

Well, frankly, I agree with MGibson, in that I found the dark humor to be worth a giggle. Yeah, a bit more tact would be appreciated, and yeah, a bit more respect would be nice, and yeah, I think that, above all, it was an assholic post… but jeez, we’ve laughed at worse. I mean, if we allowed ourselves to get pulled down by every example of scum-sucking (in)human activity, then we become a very sorry, stressed-out, angry bunch.
But my advice to Mr. Llamasex… just apologize. There’s no shame in saying “Oops, I didn’t mean to piss off so many people.” It’s not “giving in to popular opinion.” It’s common-fucking-sense. And try not to piss people off in the future… subtle humor is far more amusing than the over-the-top, Tom Green style.

**Llamasex** finds a child being tortured to death by her parents to be funny? In what universe is a child’s death the occasion for humor?
And yes, I wish him to suffer loss so that he may learn firsthand how grief feels, just as grandparents, siblings, someone, must feel grief for that child’s death.
And if you think curses work, grow up.

Uh, I’ll just say this…
I searched for previous posts by llamasex, and I only found one that was “beyond the pale,” as it were.
If his posts in the thread I mentioned in the OP really were attempts at humor (however poor and inappropriate), then I’ll withdraw the _troll_ label.
Some of you probably know that I have a hot button when it comes to child abuse. I worked for several years in a shelter for abused children, and as a guardian ad litem for the courts, and I’ve seen evidence of abuse, no, torture, so extreme as to be incomprehensible. I personally find extremely few, if any, jokes about child abuse funny.
I make no apologies for that.

no, I take that back, because I don’t want anyone to really suffer just so **lamasex** can have a moral education. Perhaps he can have a truly horrific nightmare, in which he suffers great loss and through his pain he learns to be more empathetic, like Scrooge in _A Christmas Carol_.

Ok, I’m glad that you’re the end all and be all of deciding where and when sarcasm is appropriate. And do tell, what are the moral implications of **llamasex** ’s sentence? What do you even mean by that? And (keeping in line with the grammar corrections of others) didn’t you ever learn not to use no double negatives (no this has no relevance on your post, but it seems that pointless insults are the name of the game).
