Ok, now if you got two people, grazed a few layers of skin off or burnt wounds on their arms, then pressed them together to heal (ok, just theoretically, it’d be an arsehole to keep the joined together for that long, plus not _really_ that ethical) would they fuse together? ---

Unless they had exactly matching blood and tissue types, the wounds would get all infected, I think. They might stick together with some scabs and/or puss, but I kind of doubt they’d fuse together like your’e suggesting. ---

At least not without strong adhesives. ---

If you stitched, say, an albertross to a cat, do you think the albertross would still be able to fly? Maybe graft a laser to the cats forehead, you’d have an amazing flying death machine… ---

I must say: I doubt if I would ever have thought of this question. Beautiful! Congratulations. Maybe it’s the cosmological flip side of conjoined twins. Maybe it’s another variation on “What God has joined together, let no man put assunder…” ---

Hmmm. Not sure, but do you think you could get an elephant and a rhino to stand still for that long? Could stich them together on opposite directions, then scare them. Might be like a big drill really ---
