You should NEVER, EVER!! circumcise somebody else!!!
On the other hand, if you are over 18 and you want to have it done to yourself, then go for it.

Without getting graphic… it does. I like NajaHusband’s factory-original equipment juuuuuuuuuuust fine. If he got hit by a bus and I had to pick a new partner I wouldn’t do it based on the state of their accouterments, but I would have a moment of quiet, internal disappointment about it upon discovery. I have often joked about calling his mom up and saying “thanks”. He doesn’t know why they didn’t cut him (they never talked about it) but he assumes it was just a rational “no compelling reason to do it” sort of thing as they are atheists and aren’t the types to do something “just because”.
I enjoy his foreskin very much, so does he, and we won’t deny our theoretical sons or their future partners the pleasures of normally-functioning body parts based on a social whim. If they get all grown-up like and decide they want body modifications like tattoos, piercings, or a circumcision, they’re more than welcome to make those decisions for themselves regarding their own bodies. I simply don’t think it’s my right to do, absent overwhelmingly compelling medical evidence which, suffice it to say, there is not.
I thought I wanted to get my boy cut - but made the mistake of doing some research on the internet. About 20 seconds into what was actually not that biased a site, I burst into tears and resolved that there was absolutely no way I could do that to my boy.
What can I say? I’m a big wuss.
However, I had said it was up to Dad - and Dad wanted to. Or so I thought. Turned out he didn’t care. Whew.
