well found? what does “ben trovato” mean?
I’ve forgotten where I read it, but I believe that “ben trovato” means “good story” in Italian.
It’s the tail end of a cute saying: “Well, if it’s not true, at least it’s a good story.”
I agree. Who cares if any given explanation is true, as long as it’s entertaining.
