# Ok uncle.  Did Obama give his address yet or not?

I thought it was supposed to take place at noon, but I can’t find any video. Some articles reference his speech (I know the text was released) as if he’s given it already. Yes, I’m living under a rock.

ETA: I’m really surprised by the lack of discussion on these boards right now - although there is a thread about Aretha Franklin’s hat.

Oh, that. For some reason it didn’t occur to me to look in “Mundane, Pointless Stuff I Must Share.” But that one does seem to be mostly mundane and pointless twaddle. There is [another one getting started in Great Debates](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=502688).
