It doesn’t look creepy to me; it just looks ugly and nonsensical. It also doesn’t look much like a clown. ---

When I was a kid, my grandma had many shelves of tchotchkes. My mom also had a modest collection of [del]dust-collecting crap[/del] ornaments. I had a collection myself (given to me all at one blow, as a Christmas gift). It was just assumed in my family that females would assemble little objects to stand on shelves. One day, when I was about ten, I realized that I had several toy clowns. Obviously they were meant to be a display! I cleared off a space, set them all up together, and then I was a collector! With a hobby and shit! It took some time :o, but after a while I realized that I didn’t even like clowns, or cluttered shelves for that matter, and I didn’t enjoy having stuff for the sole purpose of being looked at. I guess what I’m saying is, some people think they’re supposed to decorate their homes with stuff that matches other stuff they have, and maybe one of those poor benighted souls has a clown doll, and then next thing you know they get another one, and then it’s just a smooth road to hell. ---

It looks like a bad craft project, the kind that, if browsing a [del]junk[/del] thrift shop, I _might_ glance at without even a shudder before scooting on to the next derelict item. Were my consciousness sufficiently altered, I might consider firecrackers inside, a catapult launch over a body of water, and a polluting end to its existence. YMMV. ---
