Okay, I know you’ve been going through a rough time this year, and I’m really about that. At the same time, you’re really starting to skeeve me out. (Especially with your behavior towards women on this board)
Your [comment](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=20555286#post20555286) to monstro here was the last straw.
Recently someone started a [thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=839501) talking about how her friend was sexually abused as a teenager. You came in and shit all over that, doing the exact thing she was complaining about.

FWIW, I didn’t take any offense at what **dropzone** said about my “fetish” (although I did have to google “Morris dancing”). But the “men are talking” thing was really weird.
**dropzone** has always been a odd duck, and it is hard for me to take what he says seriously. But I do hope he’s okay and not drinking too heavily.

I didn’t know what Morris Dancing was either. And it was the “hush woman” that did it for me too – it was basically the last straw, since I’ve been noticing how he’s been acting for awhile. If it’s a drinking problem, then he should probably take a break from here and check into getting help. Seriously, addiction is not a pretty thing to go through, or to witness.
I hope this just serves as a, “dude, chill out.” If you need help, please get it. Either way, your behavior lately isn’t cool.
ETA: more importantly than taking a break from the Dope – take care of yourself, and please, look into getting help for your addiction. Okay? (I’ve seen family go through this, and it’s very painful)

IIRC, he’s done inpatient drying out b/c he’s an alcoholic; any is too many drinks for him now. Combine them w/ his grief and what seems to be a complete lack of filter and he’s just coming across so gross. I mentioned something to him in my post b/c I recall him asking for that when he went over the line what must be years ago now.
But I should know better than to reason w/ a drunk.

I don’t think it’s okay to say that child molestation is a “compliment” that should be accepted as such by the victim:

For those who haven’t read the thread, the “guy in the OP” was described like this:

**dropzone** ’s behavior in that thread was disgusting. In addition to being sickening in and of itself, his stated belief that sexual abuse is flattering makes his frequently inappropriate behavior towards female Dopers all the more troubling.
