I like healthy, low maintenance, women who wear little or no makeup and practical clothing. Many of these happen to be lesbians, and my plumbing is incorrect for them to reciprocate the interest. Happily, twenty years ago, I found one (the one!) who turned out to be straight. ---

She still has a mind of her own and can stand on her own two feet. She can carry on a conversation about almost anything, regardless of whether she’s heard of it before. If she hasn’t, she wants to learn more about it. She likes travelling and being exposed to different languages and cultures. At the same time, she’d be perfectly happy living in a house in the country or on a boat at sea. I’ve known several girls like this over the years. I wanted to marry each of them, but we unfortunately ended up going our separate ways, for a variety of reasons. The problem is, once you’ve found one, she becomes the standard against which all other women are measured, and most just don’t stand up to it. ☹ ---

Tall, good body, dark hair and eyes. I love facial hair but nothing too long or unkempt. Strong and muscular without being out of proportion, I don’t care for the overly muscular bodybuilder type. I like an outgoing guy with a confident personality that is funny, kind, assertive, and very attentive to me. Intelligence in important too, and somebody I can feel comfortable confiding in. Great kisser and lover, of course. ---

He needs to have been a father - there’s something extra scrumptious about men who’ve raised children. Wicked smart and wicked funny, with a kind heart. Something of an outsider. Nothing about appearances is essential to me - my ex captivated me with the way he cut a pear. Sexy’s from the inside out. ---

Intelligent, college-educated women who frequently wear skirts or dresses, and have very pretty speaking voices. I’m very partial to women who wear glasses, and an ability to sing and/or play musical instruments is a plus. Definitely need to have an enjoyment of music, especially jazz (which I play), and an interest in talking about history, pop culture, and obscure bits of trivia. Excessive makeup, tattoos, or piercings aren’t attractive to me. ---

Looking back, almost all of the men that I’ve dated in the past 25+ years, including two LTR and the current Fella, are on the short side (within ~4" either side of my own 5’6"), big, blue eyed, white, middle aged, many with long head hair and facial hair. The biggest thing they all have in common though, is intelligence. A sense of humor and geekiness are a plus. ---

About 5’8" or 5’9", big eyes, long hair, witty, and fairly busty, and prone to joking and laughing. And not wearing capri pants or Birkenstock-style sandals. ---
