Hey if it’s good enough for MCR, it’s good enough for an engineer. Actually, I while it’s not a very sexy story, I don’t think the origin’s all that creepy. They couldn’t sell the doll for its original purpose so they turned to sex, completely understandable. Now if they could do something about the looks… ---

Instead of the pointless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the government should have plowed billions of dollars into the development and production of sex robots. Imagine, instead of dropping bombs, we dropped sexbots. The wars would have ended years ago. What an opportunity missed, but it may not be too late. ---

Ya know, I came in here fully prepared to say, “Yes I probably would.” but after reading the article and seeing the pictures I’m not so sure anymore. Personally I think having it talk would be a turn-off. Simulated conversation is not exactly what I’m looking for when I am in the mood to fuck a Real Doll. So on the subject of Real Dolls, no I probably still wouldn’t be able to. The libido might be saying, “Why aren’t you fucking it yet god damn it?” and my logical and conscious mind probably just would not be able to allow me to. ---

Maybe if they came out with a male version . . . and if I didn’t already have a partner . . . and if I were really old and ugly and repulsive and never left home . . . even then . . . NO. What really bothers me is: I lost two female friends on 9/11. Damn, why didn’t I come up with this idea? How many guys would love to have two lesbian love dolls to play with? An approximation of my thought process: “Sure, maybe, I guess? _opens link_ Hell no. That is one unattractive sexbot. … It can’t move, not even its lips or eyes? It would be like fucking a corpse! … Dear god, what is it wearing? Is that supposed to be sexy?” Reading the comments I realise _why_ the latter is the case, but that hardly makes a better impression. ---
