Huh. This whole time, I thought it was still spelled ā€œNeanderthalā€ but people were pronouncing the ā€œthā€ the German way. But, no, it seems they are changing the spelling, too. That said, the idea is to only call it Neandertal when talking about the specific (sub)species. So if you just mean ā€œcave manā€, Neanderthal is still fine. ---

A few months ago the moderators allowed us to make a change to what comes after our name. I _think_ they have stopped doing it now but, since you are a new user, they may allow it. ~~Basically, ask a mod.~~ Itā€™s up to them (a pretty cool bunch if you ask nicely). ---

There is a thread for it. But we do have posters wait a few months before we add titles. Itā€™s a partial pic of my favorite banjo peghead, the _Fiddle Peghead_. Sadly, Gibson is no longer manufacturing banjos. Guess Iā€™ll have to ā€œsettleā€ for a Stelling Sunflower instead! Thank God that Affirm exists. ---
