_Gregory’s Girl_: a cute, funny Scottish comedy about a gawky high school kid (who looks way too much like Mick Jagger) who falls in love with the new girl in school. It’s clean enough for the whole family. ---

Try BBC’s _The Office_ for a rather different experience. [Link](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0290978/). > [@](#): > > A mockumentary about life in a mid-sized suboffice paper merchants in a bleak British industrial town, where manager David Brent thinks he’s the coolest, funniest, and most popular boss ever. He isn’t. Brilliant show, one of my favourites. ---

Blackadder. Old but classic. RedDwarf too. [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/okay-i-give-up-reccomend-some-comedies/221834.md?page=2)
