OK, my only problem w/ the whole Janet Jackson thing lies solely in a woman’s clothes being torn from her body, ostensibly w/o her permission, as entertainment. That shit ain’t funny. And let me also interject here to say that if I ever saw Peter Dinklage (The Station Agent) on the street, I’d scoop him up and eat him like a bowl of Haagen Dazs, mmmh-hmm. ---

Officially LPA is witholding judgement. Among the membership, there’s a lot of controversy – certainly there’s been a lot of yelling online. I wasn’t planning on watching it anyway because I think all of those dating shows are beyond stupid. ---

I’d be interested to know if the focus of advertisers for the show changes from that seen for other, similar type shows (what do you call these damn shows anyway?) If there’s an appreciable redirection of marketing, that might make for some interesting commentary, probably all negative.
