No, I didn’t watch the interview. I did, however, see the promos for it. The shot where Lopez and Affleck kiss on the “red carpet” didn’t look very genuine.

So when’s Jersey Girl actually gonna come out? It’s either going to cement Kevin Smith as a worthwhile, skilled filmmaker or further prove that he’s a one-trick pony.
Not that I wanted to see him do anymore Jay and Bob movies (although we are supposedly getting an animated Clerks movie), but I was kinda leery when I found out that THIS was going to be his next big project.

You can’t get away from them is what pisses me off. They’re in your line of vision on magazines in the check-out land at the grocery store. You turn on the TV for two seconds and you see some promo for a “special” JLO and Affleck interview, plus you see the trailer for their movie. You sit in the doctor’s office and there they are on about a million magazines (like at the grocery store). On the Internet you see threads like this (don’t worry about it. I ranted on them on another board) or you pass by briefly a news site which has a million stories on them.
And you know they’ll get divorced and then remarried and then divorced and you’ll still hear about them!

Jennifer Lopez is the modern day Elizabeth Taylor.
J-Lo and B-Af will get married and divorce, then come back because the Love just couldn’t die and make another try and re-marry. Just like Liz and Richard Burton.

Ok I missed Dateline last night. What was said? When are they tying the knot?
I agree you can’t get away from them. I don’t know what makes this couple so hot in the public’s eye. He is NOT a great actor and she is NOT a great singer.
And I heard she was having her bridal gown custom made. For cripes sake this is her third wedding. You would think ettiquete would be “something simple” What’s up with that?

And Richard Burton was a lot more talented than Ben Affleck could ever be, even though both he and Taylor produced their share of bad movies.

I won’t say the J-Lo is a great actress, but I think that if you look objectively she is not untalented. You could find worse. I thought she did a pretty good job in _Out of Sight_.
I’ve never understood Ben Affleck’s popularity, and I think he’s a terrible actor.

Years before the reality TV deluge, comedian Bill Hicks proposed a half-hour show entitled _Let’s Hunt and Kill Billy Ray Cyrus!_. It’s high time to revisit that concept, maybe as a summer replacement show. These two would make for a great one-hour premire special.
