It’s funny how people post links to the songs that are tormenting them as if we’re stupid enough to click on them. YOU CAN’T GET RID OF AN EARWORM BY PASSING IT ALONG!!! Here’s a question: once you’ve had a particular song as an earworm, are you immunized from ever getting it again? I don’t want to try to find out- the theme song to Little Lulu almost drove me to suicide. ---

Before long you’ve acquired a collection of the bastards. Which can come in handy when you’re particularly plagued by your most recent one - you can replace it temporarily with a few from your collection. This can go on forever. ---

I was reading a book this week and I came across the unfortunate line - I never said I loved you. The Payolas were stuck in my head for days until I read an article that said one way to kill earworms is to do anagrams. Apparently it uses the same portion of your brain. It worked until I started writing this post. Now I need a new anagram. ---
