Aaaah! Aaah! Beloit! Now I know why this all seems so familiar. I visited there. And applied. waiting list. No, the answer, I didn’t go to Beloit. I went to Wesleyan (only for 2 years, referenced in the same thread you linked above, which i would personally link to if i weren’t so messed up), in CT. My feeling is that there are only so many small, ‘liberal arts,’ highly-priced schools in the nation. And that they are mostly the same. Beloit, Wesleyan, Williams, Carleton, all places I visited. But, uh… Um… the feminists and ‘Parlor Pinks’ at Wes are apparently identical to those at Beloit. As are the first-year Russian teachers. Ok so we don’t go to the exact same school. I didn’t \*actually \*expect that we would. But,… it’s still creepy that shit is so similar, no? I’d write something more profound if i wasn’t as drunk as i am (i know. i said that already. it’s sad. ok? it’s my birthday. cut me some slack.). but still. right? man. wouldn’t it be trippy if we did go to the same school though? I’d buy you a drink. ya know? ---
