In the spirit of the thread, it should be noted that they called themselves the Canadian Conservative Reform Alliance (Party) briefly. They changed the name a day later when the resulting acronym was pointed out to them. ---

The free publicity given to that bus is worth its weight in black gold. There’s no way the party didn’t do it on purpose. ---

Being in Ontario, I have no idea how much support the Wildrose Party has. What’s the inside scoop on these guys? ETA: BTW she is IMHO very pretty. I doubt people would have pointed this out on Elizabeth May’s bus, for example. ---

I think it’s PR genius. The whole point here is “name recognition, name recognition, name recognition.” Look at this: People have heard of this politician who don’t even live in Canada. The news of this so-called fiasco went viral! I think whoever dreamed this up deserves a raise. I mean, sure, she looks like kind of an idiot. But publicity! ---
