If the church, etc. wants to restrict who the recipients can be, they can. The government has no business doing so. ---

Oklahoma State University Medical Center probably counts as state-owned and thus exempt. But I guess there would be court battles over what counts as an NGO. ---

A proposed bill just tells you what sort of person it is that wrote the bill. All sorts of bills are proposed that never even make it to a vote, let alone to the Governors desk. Come back when it passes, and before the Governor signs it. ---

What can we realistically do? But if Liberals get agitated over every right wing nutcase bill that is introduced without a hope of even getting a vote, we cant concentrate on the real issues. There are hundreds of such bills introduced. This one just happened to catch the eye of a news channel, on a slow news day. ---
