It’s now official - my mom is being sent home on Moanday!!! Huzzah!! And **FCD** put fuel in the boat, bled the lines, and it started right up!! And the landlubbers rejoiced!! We’ll be sea-going (bay going??) again soon! OK, back to laundry. ---

Back to exercise today. Right thumb arthritis is giving me some pain. Breakfast was avocado toast and scrambled cheesy eggs. Finally picked up my new glasses from Costco. Also grabbed a giant package of toilet paper and a bag of Sun Chips. Got out cheap for once, but man it’s tough dragging my wife away from impulse buying. I’ll be taking her to the heart specialist later today. Doctors just love giving out referrals to people with good insurance. Nothing like spending a sunny afternoon at the hospital. This may be the last appointment, although I seem to recall a referral to a “memory center”. ---

Just had a delivery guy knock on the door and ask if I can take a parcel for the neighbour, as she’s out 🙄 This isn’t a new hobby dammit! I did say yes cos I want to talk to her anyway about replacing the fence, and she normally avoids me, probably due to Alfie, her extremely barky dog. ---

Obviously I had more dirties than I thought. When the next load goes into the dryer, I think I’ll harness up Otis and have a walk. Temp has crept into the low 50s, so I’ll be comfy in a hoodie, even without the sun. Maybe today I’ll remember to set my timer so I know how long I walk. ---

I was on the 100 and 200 Slides today. Except, one of the 200 Table guys was an hour late, so I was on the 200 table for 2 hours. The the Idiot PT sup sent me back up there(he also forgot to call Hazmat about a leaker on the Table). Then the SSLAW was futzing, so the Smalls solution was to dump half the unlabeled packages into the 200 Boxline bags, and send 'em to me. 🤨 Plenty of damages, and no help so I was there till past noon. Howdy Y’all! As foretold, today has been a day of high RDOS inactivities. The beast stroganoff turned out great with enough to sup upon tomorrow. I foresee another day of high RDOS inactivities tomorrow. My DAWGS have a bye this week so not even a need to plan around the game. Have I mentioned lately how much I love bein’ a RDOS? ---

He had carne asada and I had some very interesting taquitos. The beef ones had cubes of what tasted like pork and green chili and the chicken ones had tomatoes mixed with the meat. Tomorrow we are going north to look at the trees. If we end up at our fav cantina, I will be having a THC infused beverage just because I like being edgy. I understand that bars need a different license to be allowed to serve it, and it cannot be sold to-go. TBH the THC infused stuff is very mild but it entertains me. We can’t smoke weed in WV, but we can buy it. We can’t buy edibles at a dispensary but we can drink them at a bar. Vice laws have never made sense. And now I’m getting all nostalgic over opium based liquors. I used to love Oscar, it tasted purple. Oh, hubs just locked the fuzzbutts out of the bedroom! That means its whoopy time, I’ll catch up with you guys tomorrow. ---

Evening all. Soccer has been practiced and I have the ‘participation’ medals and other goodies for the U8 kids tomorrow. Now I just hope a good night’s sleep is in store, feeling tired and beat right now, can’t dare to be sick however, too much going on tomorrow. Hope Long Night isn’t too bad. **Pilot** , you can go to the Tank Museum site (in England) if you want a pair of your own (they can be a bit unwieldly but fit comfortably and are well-insulated/padded. **JtC** , they did like the slippers, but keeping their interest on something for more than 30 seconds isn’t easy (in fact it’s darn near impossible). Hope the Rotator Cuff is an out-patient injury type. Hope the trees were pretty. And that’s all he wrote. Think I’ll be off to bed once I collect everything I’ll need tomorrow in one place (and I’ll still forget something). Catch y’all sometime on Sattiday. ---
