Laundry is sloshing and kitties have been tired out (they’re currently recharging in the back bedroom). Someone posted earlier in the thread about LED candles (sorry I forget who) and it inspired me to order a set of 6 rechargeable LED tea lights with remote. I can’t put up a string of lights or anything like that because of my ~~little monsters~~ cats but I’m hoping they’ll leave these alone and will help bring some cheeriness to the dark evenings. That scammer was quite dedicated. After a month of me toying with him ( sure it was a him) they posted some stuff that made me think the person was who they said they were. Now I have closed my bank account and went to the bank in person to make a new one. All passwords have been changed. Yes, I was stupid. They even requested money from my contacts on paypal, who were not stupid enough to fall for it, thankfully. I dont have much money but still, thats worrisome. Wonder how I could report this, I have the lengthy telegram conversation, wonder if the ptb can check the IP address. ---

Howdy Y’all! It’s been a large and in charge day for da bear. We went in separate vehicles cause I needed to be there before OYKW wanted to be and he was in charge of food transport. Then we had a service that lasted one hour and forty-five minutes. We don’t slack on All Saints Day! That was followed by a hyuuuuge first Sunday brunch. I think I ate all the things. Since it was almost one-thirty when all that was said and done, I decided to just stay as it didn’t seem worth it to go back to da cave for all of forty-five minutes or so. Instead, I went to Sam’s and gassed up (got right in and out even!) stopped at the Circle K sto’ for a big polar pop and went back to the church house. All that is within five miles of the church house. We had group and I also performed candle duty and other stuff since I was there. I will be headed to Diocesan convention on Thursday, so didn’t want to have to go over just for that on Thursday before leavin’. Since vehicle is all fed, I won’t be drivin’ it until Thursday. OYKW will provide transport until then. He’s gotta earn his keep somehow after all. Once back at da cave today, I changed into tshirt, jammy pants and slippers and watched some stoopid teevee. Now that I have read and responded to the MMP I shall see whatup on teh intartoobz for a bit and have an early bedtime cause I’s tahrd! **Hippie** I’m diggin’ on that quilt top. The pattern and the colors are awesome! **Nuts** I gather there will be a lot of fireworks on Thursday over your way. Are there also a lot of bonfires? **Cookie** I am so sorry for the loss of your pan. A good pan is a sad thing to lose. Hope you find a suitable replacement. **MetalMouse** we need to hit the OG soon. Haven’t been in a long time. I like the soup, sallit, and breadsticks thingy they do. I like other stuff as well, but that’s always been my favorite. You reminded me I have an umbrella in my vehicle. I need to take it out and put it where it stays. **Knotty** I get that same weekly summary of phone/screen time. I’m not sure if it’s proud of me or wants me to go outside and touch some grass. If my laptop did the same thing, I’m pretty sure it would tell me to go touch some grass. **Taters** I also use boneless chikin thighs when I make death chikin. I like that better than usin’ boobs. I agree about standard time. I wish it could just be left alone. **WetOne** Jekyll Island, Jawja is pronounced Jek Ill. I am disappointed we don’t have a Hyde Island. Seems only fair to me. **52** early mornin’ is usually a good time to go to Sam’s for gas. Sunday evenin’, which I did today, seems also to be a really good time. I won’t even consider afternoon or evenin’ durin’ the irk week. **Mollie** Chloè is without a doubt the keeyoootest little serial killer ever! Also, I approve of ice cream for dinner. **Herald** _Elvira_ is one of my favorite songs. I must sing along at the top of my voice much to the chagrin of anyone around me. I watch the game and may make mention of it to one or two friends. I do not want to talk endlessly about it, however. Priest and I gave each other a high five and a _WOOF_ as it has become our thang. **Oopsie** sorry you missed out on the candy beggars, but you earned major karma points. Hope Wife BFF’s foot isn’t hurt too bad. I swear the older I get, the more stuff finds a way to hurt. It is not selfish to want some downtime. You gotta take care of yourself and that’s as important as anything else. I’d join you for a Costco dawg or a Sam’s slice from time to time. Both are good. **MOOOOOOM** do please tell daughter the correct version is “get off my lawn, ya whippersnapper!” **Cookie** that sucks about the elevator and the van. Everybody should be able to get to the polls on election day! Management at your place seems to be made up of not bright folk. **shoe** death chikin is, AIUI, a midwestern USofA funeral food. Evening all. Just completed a on-line meeting regarding the soccer tournament next weekend, so that mission is accomplished. Pretty much same-same old. Need to finish up here and start getting ready for bed, unlike others who got an extra hour of sleep, I got up a hour earlier than usual today so will be turning in a couple of hours from now. Rain continued most of the day, sometimes heavy and sometimes more of a drizzle, but everything is well-soaked now. Temperature is down to 62F and will bottom out at 50F, so not too bad. And the fire pit looked appropriately eerie too. **Herald** , I broke my arm in second grade too by falling off a slide…but in my case no pushing, I was chasing my brother around the playground and was a little too quick jumping onto the slide. But only broke one. And phone has switched, just needed to turn off the Daylight Savings tab. **Oopsie** , hope your BFF’s stop getting hurt and get better soon. And can understand you needing a break, that much intensive work can wear on you. (and also what **Mollie** said). **FCM** , Tobias from your description and pics is the farthest thing from an grumpy old man that I can conceive of. **Cookie** , hope the new Dutch Oven gives you many long years of service. And second verse, same at the first (but different starting point). **VanGo** , that was a pretty busy Sunday, but at least all the chores are done so you can concentrate on work now… 😉 My two wall clocks and the alarm clock in my bedroom need batteries, but I just wait until they stop working and replace it then. **Doggio** , appears that it is no longer Chris’s towel… **Coppertone** , maybe the bank can suggest a course of action, they probably have dealt with customers that were not as careful or smart as you. **swampy** , glad all the churchin’ and errand running worked out well,. My unbrella remains in my car, it’s in the garage so I don’t need it to get from house to car. And it’s 9pm, a couple things remain to be done then off to Slumberland I will go. I’ve had two broken teeth. Likely by this age some broken toes, but I’ve been told that if I could walk on it, all a confirmatory x-ray would do is make the doc say, “Huh, yup.” ---

I’ve broken a toe, my left arm at 8, my right wrist at 16, my tail bone at 21, my left index finger in my late 20s, and my right ankle in 2003. I was also in an auto accident at 15 that tore up my left foot and knee, though no broken bones. What can I say, I’ve always been more enthusiastic than graceful. ---
