HAH! The hospice nurse told her flat-out to tell us every time she wants to get up so we can be with her. She ignored him just like she ignores us. I had to stop her three times yesterday from going to the kitchen alone. Worse than a toddler… I once enlisted my 8 year old niece to sit on Mom’s lap when she wanted to _help_ mop up a spill in the kitchen. The magnolia blossoming is (thankfully) over and now for my favorite, honeysuckle. There’s one kind on the fence that smells wonderful this time of year and another at the front of the building that perfumes us later in the summer. I don’t have any flowering plants on the patio, given that I’m in nearly full shade. Stuff like ivy and herbs do fine, but flowere, tomatoes and peppers do not.
